I would just like to point out that before I became fortunate enough to seal my name in the annuls of club history, I had no intentions of doing so. I did not feel the need to trash talk the incumbent record holder (Mr. Kelsey Kelemen who is a good friend), nor did i feel it necessary to berate their previous accomplishments. I merely went out before my adopted hometown and ran my heart out. I know that there have been several attacks on the quality of this record, which have unfortunately degenerated into jabs at the depth of my character. For that I have no response other than to say this record is the best that I could produce on that day and I only wish success upon those who can better it. I know that there have been previous challenges to this priviliged piece of history (yves in '06, Torrance in '08) and those attempts have fallen substantially short. I hope that one day this record will be beat, but in the absence of a credible threat I do not see it being so for the forseeable future. In the meantime, I will weather the significant abuse from my challengers, while taking comfort in the knowledge that this record has been safe for half a decade and appears ready to last another one.
